Nepal brings back 27 stolen statues of Buddha from China




Nepal has brought back from China a stupa and 27 statues of Buddha dating back to the 15th century that was stolen two years ago from a monastery in Dolpa district, a famous tourist spot in northwestern part of the Himalayan nation। The Tibet Autonomous Government of China handed over the 28 cultural relics that were stolen from the Yangzirling Monastery at a function in Tibets regional capital Lhasa on Wednesday।
