Dear friend,
It is really disgusting to find mention of Royalty now. How come these Australians committed this faux pas? Let us not think about what mistake they committed. We are not concerned with their attitude. But, we need to think deeply about the roles of our ministries and officials.
In my understanding, Foreign ministry and officials therein are accountable for informing changes in Nepal. They must have, in accordance with proclamations of the parliament, informed all and sundry that henceforth, the army of Nepal will be addressed as Nepal Army only.
Presentation of Katuwal's credentials as that of Royal Nepal army clearly indicates that officials of foreign ministry are not efficient in thier work. It is possible that some of them, who were appointed or promoted at the proddings of the Palace, might have overlooked it in retaliation to changes in Nepal.
Thus, it is necessary that government of Nepal must initiate an inquiry and make responsible person accountable for this gross mistake.
Kartal
P.S.: Thanks for your comment in my blog. I am really encouraged by your words.
