The Chief of the Nepal Communist Party-United Marxist Leninist, Mr. Madhav Kumar Nepal lambasting at the Maoists said yesterday at a program organized in the party central office –Balkhu, that it was “ridiculous to blame the monarchy” for the poll deferral, it is clear that the Maoists should be solely held responsible for barring the people from taking part in a democratic process that was all set for this November.
“If proven that the palace was involved in such activities, there is the provision in the interim constitution for ousting the monarch instantly, however there is no proof as yet provided by the Maoists that the palace was involved in foiling the elections”, he added.
The Maoists on several occasions have blamed the Monarchy for some unfortunate incidents that have happened of late, but in reality they themselves are to be blamed one way or the other, Nepal explained.
Ridiculing the past agreements to decide the fate of monarchy and the voting system too, the Maoists all of a sudden proposing new ideas have created further anarchy which is the sole reason for the poll deferral, the neo-republican leader Mr. Nepal said.
Analysts see In Mr. Nepal a changed communists having now some “new found love and honor” for the now sidelined monarchy.
But why is thus U turn? Keep on guessing.

I think as long as KP OLI and his team go to palace for dinner, UML will follow king's interests only.
he had supported the king in the past also, so I am not surprised ,
his game is over, I mean UML's game is over, thay have no thing to do with nepal main stream politics any more, .....
